About Digital Cash Code
Digital Cash Code is an affiliate site, and it is built the other way round from most of them: the guide comes first and explains the problem, the arithmetic or the comparison, and a product is named only where one is genuinely the answer. Merchants pay us a commission when you buy through a link. You pay the same.
What is here, and what is not
Two things. Guides, which answer one question each and are the reason to read the site at all; and brand pages, one per merchant, which are where a guide sends you when a product is the answer.
We are approved on 7 programmes at CJ Affiliate: BLUETTI, Click & Grow, GroundLuxe, NordPass, NordVPN, Personalabs and Surfshark. That list is the entire commercial side of the site. 7 of them have a page today, and a brand gets one only when we would send a friend to it. There is no ranking to buy and no category we fill for the sake of filling it.
A guide is written to be useful whether or not you buy anything. Where the honest answer is a cooler full of ice, a smaller model, or the option we are not paid for, the guide says so — and there are rows on this site that recommend exactly that.
We do not publish prices. A price on a page like this is out of date the week after it is written, and a wrong price is a small betrayal of the person reading it. The maker’s page has the number that will actually be charged, and every button here opens that page.
Who runs the site
Digital Cash Code is run by Luis Betancourt, an independent publisher and web developer. Pages are researched and written by Luis with the help of writing and research tools, and every published page is checked by a person before it goes live. We are not doctors, electricians or financial advisers, and we say so on the pages where it matters.
What a brand page contains
- The maker’s own photographs. Every picture on this site comes from the merchant’s own product data, downloaded and served from our domain so an ad blocker cannot break the page. We do not use stock photography and we do not stage anything.
- The problem, before the product. A power cut, a kitchen with no window, a bad night’s sleep, a hotel Wi-Fi. If the problem is not yours, the page tells you so early.
- Which one fits. Most of these brands sell a range. The page names the model or the plan for your situation instead of pushing the most expensive one.
- Who should look elsewhere. A real list, before any button. A refund you have to chase is worse for both of us than a sale that never happened.
- What we did not check. Terms, warranties and specifications are the maker’s to publish. We link to them; we do not fill the gap with guesses, and a merchant’s own claim is marked as theirs.
How the site makes money
Every button that leaves this site is an affiliate link. If you click one and buy, the merchant pays us a percentage of the sale, and you pay exactly what you would have paid arriving there on your own. Merchants do not pay for a page, do not send us free products, and do not see a page before it is published. A higher commission does not move a brand up this site.
The full terms are on the affiliate disclosure page.
What we will not do
- Invent customer testimonials, star ratings or “verified buyer” reviews.
- Show countdown timers, fake stock counters or invented discounts.
- Claim that any product treats, cures or prevents a disease.
- Publish a number we did not read on the merchant’s own site.
Corrections
Merchants change their ranges and their terms often. When we re-check a page we update the date it carries. If something here is out of date or wrong, we want to know: tell us and we will fix it.
